The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) is the only thing standing in Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s way. The small Kurdish political party could very well disrupt the ambitions of the president and his Justice and Development Party (AKP), which appears to be losing votes ahead of a decisive general election on June 7.
