HSYK removes judge known for releasing police officers in Ankara

The Supreme Board of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK) removed Ankara 1st Penal Court of Peace Judge Orhan Yalmancı from office on Monday after the judge had released all of the police officers detained in a government-orchestrated investigation on Feb. 25 on charges of carrying out illegal wiretapping.
