The EU Commission has increased its growth estimate for Turkey in 2015 from 3.3 percent to 3.7 percent, and from 3.7 percent to 4 percent for 2016. According to the report, inflation rates are expected to decline, while growth will be supported by improvement in consumer's purchasing power. Moreover, it is estimated that the current account deficit will also shrink, thanks to the reduction in imported energy.
