With IS threatening, Turkey abandons historic grave in Syria

ANKARA, Turkey — After months of siege by Islamic State extremists, Turkey early Sunday sent an armored column into Syria to evacuate troops that had been guarding the tomb of Suleyman Shah, the grandfather of the founder of the Ottoman Empire.
