Turkey proposes tighter internet law, pursues Twitter critic

(Reuters) - Turkey is pressing new legislation allowing ministers to temporarily ban websites and forcing Twitter to block an anonymous whistleblower as part of President Tayyip Erdogan's campaign to bring the internet to heel.
