Ankara municipality removes 'Atatürk' from name of AOÇ

The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has removed the surname of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Turkish Republic, from the Atatürk Forestry Farm (AOÇ) in a municipal decision and a construction plan, sparking strong reactions from some quarters.
