Erdoğan's wife orders opening of forest area for construction

Emine Erdoğan, the wife of President-elect Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, gave instructions to İstanbul Provincial Director of Environment and Urban Planning Ahmet Akyıldız to open a forest area in İstanbul for construction in order prevent one of her friends from going bankrupt, the Cumhuriyet daily said on Monday.
