Gas explosion in Turkey: 1 killed, 36 injured

ANKARA, Turkey – A gas explosion in a bakery in southwest Turkey killed one person and injured 36 others on Friday, the country’s emergency management agency said.
The explosion occurred on the ground floor of a seven-story building at a commercial centre in the city of Denizli, the Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate said in a statement. It was caused by a gas canister used for cooking.
