Edmonton businesswoman weaves a tale of revival in Turkey

EDMONTON - In the 553-year-old Arasta Bazaar in Istanbul, stray grey cats nap on piles of rugs outside a carpet dealer’s store. Store owners pop out of their shops and ask passersby to come inside for a cup of tea. Since the bazaar is next to the Blue Mosque, the sacred call to prayer reverberates from shop to shop.
