Eurobarometer is a series of public opinion surveys conducted regularly on behalf of the European Commission. According to Eurobarometer data published in December 2013, Europeans' trust of European institutions is declining.
Almost one in two Europeans doesn't trust the European Union. The EU conjures up a positive image for only 31 percent of Europeans, and 66 percent of them think their voice doesn't count when the EU takes important decisions. The percentage of people who don't believe their voice counts is particularly high in Greece and Cyprus.
