If Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan decides to run for the presidency, what will be his biggest ace to play? His AKP [Justice and Development Party] associates talk of "dual mad projects": the simultaneous reopening of the Heybeliada Ecumenical Seminary and the Hagia Sophia for Muslim prayers. Formulas for opening the Ecumenical Seminary are relatively easy and ready. The Hagia Sophia issue is a bit more complicated.
