Russian Cultural Center to open in Ankara in December

The Russian Cultural Center will open in Ankara (Turkey) in December or January, said Rossotrudnichestvo head Constantine Kosachyov at the meeting of co-chairs of the Russian-Turkish Public Forum, News Azerbaijan reports.
The center will be open for any public initiatives. Education centers, museums, associations of compatriots in other Turkish cities, particularly, Istanbul, will be part of the ‘orbit’ of the Russian Cultural Center.
Kosachyov added that Russian language courses, a library and regular exhibitions will open in Ankara. 60 exhibitions were ordered, coinciding with the number of cultural centers abroad. Moreover, Russia plans to open a similar center in Istanbul.
Russia and Turkey signed an agreement to exchange cultural centers in 2012.
