Turkish company plans major gas import deal with Kurdistan Region
Erbil, Asharq Al-Awsat—Turkish sources say the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkey has given a Turkish company permission to purchase natural gas from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq despite objections from the Iraqi central government.
