Turkish Tale Staged in China

The drama "Bald Boy, Smart Boy" produced by Ankara State Theatres took to the stage at the China Children's Art Theater on July 27th and 28th.
The play was staged as part of the 2013 Turkish Culture Year in China.
"Bald Boy" is a famous Turkish folktale character. He represents an Anatolian boy who has big dreams while being honorable, helpful and romantic at the same time. "Bald Boy" lives with his elderly mother and is sometimes portrayed as being stupid and na?ve but also sympathetic towards the plight of others. However, a series of ruses help "Bald Boy" achieve his dreams.
