Stagflation Fears Stalk Turkey

Turkey, one of the economies hit hardest by the global rout of emerging markets this summer, saw its borrowing costs surge on Monday while its currency continued to weaken, feeding fears that the one-time market star could be developing a new ailment: stagflation.
