Turkey Erupts
The protestors are unhappy with Erdogan's authoritarian habits.

Turkey's most violent demonstrations in decades began with a sit-in to save a few trees. But the campaign against a proposed shopping mall on the site of a small park in Istanbul—personally conceived and directed, like so much else in today's Turkey, by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan—hit a nerve of unease over his expanding power.
