More than 80 detained in Turkey police raids, reports say

ISTANBUL — Turkish anti-terrorism police detained scores of people in overnight raids, Turkish media reported Tuesday, a day after a minister warned that the government might deploy the army to end nearly three weeks of protests.

Eighty-four people were detained in the raids in Istanbul and Ankara, media reports said.
