Turkish soldier killed, 4 wounded in PKK attack

Ankara. One soldier of Turkish security forces was killed and four others wounded in an attack staged by the banned Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) in eastern Turkey on Saturday, Xinhua reported.

A large group of PKK militants raided Sehit Mehmet Gendarmerie Station in Nazimiye town of Tunceli province from three different points with rocket launchers and long barreled weapons on Saturday evening, leaving one Turkish soldier dead and four others wounded, according to the report.
