Turkish firms eye Bosnian energy

Leading Turkish energy sector companies are planning to make investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is rich in renewable energy potential and water resources.

Several Turkish companies have decided to invest in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the Bosnian Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry, Erdal Trhulj, paid a visit to Turkey at the beginning of the month, during which he met with Energy Minister Taner Yıldız and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek, said Edhem Bicakcic, the director-general of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Electricity Company (EPBIH), speaking to Anatolia news agency on Aug. 17.
