Turkish Media Weigh Their Words on PKK

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan seemed to get some traction Friday as he tries to persuade the country’s media to join in putting pressure on the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, which killed 24 soldiers in an attack this week.
A day after Mr. Erdogan met with media bosses to warn them against “knowingly or unknowingly disseminating terrorist propaganda,” the country’s five main news agencies declared a set of joint principles for reporting on terrorism.
