Turkey’s power demand rises 8.5% in Jan-Sep

Power consumption in Turkey grew by 8.5% in January-September when compared with last year’s equivalent period. According to Turkish Electricity Transmission Company (TEİAŞ) statistics, the first nine months saw 170,690GWh of electricity consumed. For September, demand was up 10.9% to about 19,000GWh.
