Istanbul: food, fish, and historical delights

With my business complete in Egypt, I made a quick pit stop in old Constantinople. It is a short hop and a skip from Cairo to Istanbul, yet in many ways, worlds away. Istanbul’s climate welcomes visitors with just the right amount of heat and a visual kaleidoscope that is hard to beat. Sitting in one of the hundreds of neighborhood coffee shops, it is easy to pass the time sipping Turkish coffee and watching tourists and locals dodge one another through the city’s busy sidewalks.
