Turkish PM arrives in famine-hit Somalia
Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit relief camps and hospitals in an effort to draw world's attention to country's plight.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Mogadishu to witness the devastation caused by a severe drought that has left about 12 million people in the Horn of Africa facing starvation.

Erdogan's visit is the first by a non-African leader to the conflict-torn Somali capital in nearly two decades.
