Work has started on the formation of Kurdish PEN. Final decisions will be made in September in Belgrade. The Diyarbakır-based group has been supported by Turkish PEN and Turkey’s master writer Yaşar Kemal. Kurdish PEN will also open its doors to Armenian and Syriac literature"
