Turkey has stepped up to offer itself as a mediating party in the conflict in Libya. Saying the main goal should be an immediate cease-fire, Turkish authorities have granted an invitation to Ankara to both the Libyan government and its opposition. ‘We will listen to all sides and look to see if we can find common ground,’ says a senior Foreign Ministry official"
