"Turkey planning to eliminate rural diesel option by 2011

Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority, or EPDK, will end the sale of rural diesel, which is subject to lower taxes but has high sulfur levels, in January as part of a drive to harmonize the country’s fuel laws with EU regulations."
