ITO (Istanbul Chamber of Commerce) price index rose by 3.09% m/m in October. Despite being sharper than the 2.26% increase a year ago, this elevated figure should not be considered as exceptionally high by seasonal standards. On the other hand, the food component which is more relevant for the CPI estimate, surged by 2.74% and did not confirm our assumption that the food inflation in the CPI would remain much below"
