ISTANBUL — Basketball great Allen Iverson is set to sign for Turkish basketball side Besiktas according to a director of the club.
The 35-year-old - who starred for the Philadelphia 76ers for 10 years from 1996-2006 and was MVP in 2001 - is expected to fly to Istanbul in 10 days time and sign a one year contract with the option of extending it by a year according to Seref Yalcin."
