Theresa McDermott’s report on the Israeli attack in international waters on the Turkish ship taking vital aid to blockaded Gaza was shocking but predictable (Fear, pain and propaganda: an activist’s story, News, June 6). Every time Israel kills or bombs Palestinians or their supporters the same excuse is trotted out: they were suspected terrorists."
