"9 players, 1 coach charged in match-fixing probe

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Turkey's state-run news agency says prosecutors are seeking up to 10 years in prison for nine players and a coach accused of involvement in a match-fixing scandal.

The Anatolia news agency says 87 other people were also charged Wednesday with either membership of a criminal gang, violating betting rules or making threats. The accused were not identified."
