Dutch activist: Gaza convoy had been checked | Radio Netherlands Worldwide

"The Gaza-bound convoy of ships carrying humanitarian aid that was stormed by Israeli naval commandos was checked to see if it contained dangerous materials, according to Dutch woman Anne de Jong, who was on board one of the ships.

Anne de Jong is one of two Dutch citizens who, together with some 500 other activists, were sailing on the six-ship flotilla carrying aid to the besieged Palestinian Gaza Strip. It’s unknown whether Ms de Jong was injured in the Israeli attack. Army forces boarded the largest vessel in the small hours of the morning, some 64 kilometres out to sea."
