"Turkish assets up as EU Greece deal whets risk appetite

ISTANBUL, April 12 (Reuters) - Turkish assets firmed on Monday as the approval of a giant aid mechanism for Greece boosted appetite for riskier assets, while investors awaited two local bond auctions to assess demand amid rising inflation.
Turkey's February current account, the only domestic data of the day, was $2.6 billion in deficit, matching the consensus forecast in a Reuters poll.
The lira opened as strong as 1.480 to the dollar, at a fresh two-month high, before easing slightly to 1.486. Friday's interbank close was 1.491 to the dollar."
