"Turkish Cypriot PM holds talks in Ankara
Turkish Cypriot Prime Minister Derviş Eroğlu and his foreign minister, Hüseyin Özgürgün, held talks in Ankara on Thursday.
Eroğlu met with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Chief Negotiator for the EU Egemen Bağış. The Turkish Cypriot leader informed the Turkish officials about the ongoing talks with Greek Cypriots and the parties exchanged views about the obstacle the Cyprus issue presents on Turkey’s path toward European Union membership."
