"Turkish banks boost Istanbul stocks, earnings eyed
ISTANBUL, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Turkish banking shares on Thursday boosted the Istanbul stock exchange, helped by gains in global markets and as investors eyed heavyweight lender Akbank's better than expected fourth quarter results.
Other individual stocks were up in morning trade, including the country's largest broadcaster Dogan Yayin, which said late Wednesday that a media watchdog had suspended a move to revoke several of the broadcaster's licences."
