ANKARA, Jan 5 (Reuters) - Turkey wants to secure an accord with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and hopes that ongoing talks on a deal will be completed soon, Deputy Prime Minister Cemil Cicek said.

Speaking after Monday's cabinet meeting, Cicek said that Ankara wanted an agreement more in order to 'accredit' Turkey with the IMF rather that for accessing financing."
