Starting this weekend, the Istanbul Modern museum will show the early films made by the most famous Dutch director, Paul Verhoeven.
Most people know the international blockbusters Verhoeven made in Hollywood, such as “Robocop,” “Total Recall” and “Basic Instinct.” But the director started his career making Dutch-language films that are less known by a wide audience."
