"Shaw receives Turkish ethylene plant extension contract

US technology provider Shaw Group has been awarded a contract by Turkish petrochemical company Petkim to expand an ethylene plant in Aliaga, Turkey.
Under the contract, the company has been tasked with providing engineering and procurement services and additional study work to expand the ethylene processing facility.
Shaw built the original 300kTA plant in 1986 and performed basic engineering for the previous capacity revamp to 520 kTA in 1999. The new expansion will increase ethylene production capacity by approximately 10 percent."
