The government has toned down its critical rhetoric toward Israel’s policy in Gaza, with the prime minister saying Tuesday that Turkey’s foreign policy is based on “peace and dialogue.” Israeli President Shimon Peres has also issued an invitation for President Abdullah Gül to visit Israel."
