The fourth anniversary of the start of Turkey-European Union membership negotiations was celebrated the other day. Chief negotiator and State Minister for EU Affairs Egemen Bağış said in a message for the occasion that Turkey’s accession to the union is the country’s arrival point to a journey to contemporary civilization."
