ISTANBUL | The exhibits at the main venues of the 11th Istanbul Biennial are drawing most of the attention of culture hounds visiting the city these days. But there are plenty of parallel events around town that are also worth checking out.
One of these is the Artcitizens Shop, a temporary space that’s serving double duty as a showcase for Istanbul’s percolating design scene and as a sales point for the work of some 15 of its emerging young designers. (Like the Biennial, the store will close up shop on Nov. 8.)"
