One of the easiest ways to see a lot of Turkish architecture in a short amount of time, is to take an inexpensive ride on the ferry that travels up and down the Golden Horn. The Golden Horn is an inlet on the Sea of Marmara and is a deep natural harbor. This body of water, named because the shape resembles a deer's horn, divides the city of Istanbul into two parts. If you stand on the middle of the bridge connecting the old city of Istanbul with the new city, you'll have one foot in Europe and one foot in Asia."
