"Historic Istanbul Hotel Gets New General Manager

Istanbul’s historic Hotel Pera Palace will be getting a new general manager when it reopens in December after what the hotel's website calls a “Restoration, Rehabilitation and Renovation project.” Pnar Kartal Timer, former director of sales and marketing of the Ciragan Palace Kempinski Istanbul, will take over the reigns of the legendary hotel, which opened in 1892 to hold passengers of the Orient Express."
