Prime Minister Fouad Siniora's trip to Ankara for talks with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, was a small indication of what might be possible if and when Lebanon and other countries in the Middle East stop obsessing with the past and start concentrating on the future. The principal achievement of the visit was a bilateral agreement to cooperate in the fight against terrorism; the real prize will come when the Arab League gets its act together and follows suit."
