"Turkish tourism sector 'will remain strong'
The Turkish government has insisted that the tourism sector is capable of holding up in the face of the global financial crisis.
Culture and tourism minister Ertugrul Gunay said people across the world are continuing to take foreign holidays, despite the economic downturn, reports the Turkish Daily News."
