"Turkey awaits Iraqi action against PKK

The repercussions of the death of 15 Turkish soldiers are expanding. Turkey is calling on Kurdistan to take decisive stands against Kurdistan workers party rebels accused of crossing from their bases in northern Iraq into Turkey under the cover of heavy fire. General Hasan Igsiz, the army’s deputy chief, accused Iraqi Kurds of helping Turkish Kurdish rebels stationed in mountainous regions in northern Iraq. “We have no support at all from the Kurdistan administration against the separatists."
