"Report: Turkish Airlines to restore Iraq flights

ANKARA, Turkey: Turkish Airlines says it will start flying to Baghdad next month, restoring a service to the Iraqi capital that was suspended when the 1991 Gulf War broke out.

Turkey's state-run news agency Anatolia reported late Friday that the airline issued a statement saying the first flight will be Oct. 26. There will be three flights a week to Baghdad — on Monday, Thursday and Saturday."
