ANKARA, Sept 18 (Reuters) - Turkey is waiting for uncertainty over Lehman Brothers' European activities to end in order to press ahead with the privatisation of a group of power stations, banking sources familiar with the deal said.
Turkey is looking to sell a number of its large and medium sized power plants, along with electricity grids, belonging to the Electricity Production Corporation (EUAS), and selected a consortium led by Lehman Brothers, along with McKinsey and a Turkish law firm, as adviser for the privatisations."
