"Wildfires blacken 25,000 acres in Turkey

KARATAS, Turkey, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Wildfires have blackened 25,000 acres in Turkey's prime tourism region, leaving at least one person dead, authorities said Saturday.
Dozens of people were left homeless in Antalya province, where flames destroyed about 60 homes in the village of Karatas, Environmental Minister Veysel Eroglu told the Hurriyet news agency."
