The Constitutional Court did not ban the governing Justice and Development Party (AK Party), but 10 of the 11 members of the court found it at fault to a degree. Four members of the top court said state subsidies to the party should be cut and six members voted for a ban. Only the president of the court, Haşim Kılıç, voted not in favor of any sanctions against the AK Party."
