Sexism in the media should be eliminated and women should be allowed to report on political and economic news in addition to soft human interest stories, said female journalists at a press conference Friday releasing the results of a new report on women and the media. These women admit, however, that representing women and women's rights and publishing news free of prejudice against women will still not be easy goals for the Turkish media to achieve."
